Chan Romero hails from Billings, Montana. He was signed to Del-Fi in 1959 after singing an original song over the phone to Bob Keane. "Hippy Hippy Shake", was noticed in a big way by British Invasion groups, including The Beatles. The Swingin' Blue Jeans had a #1 hit with it in the U.K. and Top 5 hit in the U.S. Includes seven "demo" tracks recorded on the famous Ampex machine used by Ritchie Valens.
