The Romancers - The Slauson Shuffle $12.98

The Romancers were the leader's of the pack that influenced many of the groups that were to attract national attention to the "East Side Sound" of the 60's. This one's a collection by a five-man Chicano group who played a trashier, garage-rock strain of Brit-invaded, R&B-flavored rock n' roll in the local venues, cranking out instros like "The Slauson Shuffle", one of the few dance craze hits named after popular "cruising" street from East L.A.
