The El Caminos - Reverb
Explosion
Straight outta Kobe, Japan, Eddie Ugata and crew use
only pre-CBS vintage Fender amps, Jazzmasters and Jags on this album

back in '62. “Hornet's Nest” is their cover of a Jimi Hendrix garage-surf
song.

The Centurions - Bullwinkle
Pt. II
An absolute classic
of instrumental surf.
This 1963 release is filled with raw, driving, reverb drenched guitars,
throbbing bass, pounding drums and moaning sax. The title track was
used in Pulp Fiction as the perfect backdrop to John Travolta's "shoot-up
scene". It doesn't get any better than this.

Dave
Myers & The Surftones -
Moment Of Truth - Best Of...
Multi-instrumentalist
Myers played guitar, tenor sax, trumpet, bongos, and steel guitar. As
a college music major, he was influenced by the folk, blues, jazz and
classical music while copping some of his mentor Dick Dale's frenzied
double-picking surf playing for this album. Check out the hypnotic,
haunting “Aquavelva.” Includes everything the band recorded for Del-Fi
including their entire 1963 album Hangin' Twenty.

like a long-lost spy soundtrack. Dave Myers & The Surftones went
out a lot further than their hero Dick Dale. Includes their trademark
songs "Moment Of Truth", "Aquavelva" as well as
their take on the perrenial favorite "Church Key".
